Animarum Recordings is a Berlin-based techno label founded by Patrick Scuro. Patrick Scuro, a Berlin-based techno artist, started his music career on January 1, 2020, in the holy halls of Magdalena Mainhall in Berlin. He takes immense pleasure in taking his audience on a mind-blowing cosmic trip by focusing on dark, melodic, and driving sounds.
In 2021, driven by his passion for techno that moves, mesmerizes, and brings people together, Patrick decided to open his own label, “Animarum Recordings.” The name “Animarum” is derived from Latin, meaning “souls” in English. Animarum is not just a label, but a representation of the ethos behind it — the belief in the power of soulful techno. It aims to create a connection and a sense of unity among listeners through their shared love for this genre.
Animarum Recordings is dedicated to curating and releasing #soultechno, music that resonates deep within the souls of its listeners. With each release, the label strives to captivate and move its audience, fostering a sense of collective energy on the dance floor and beyond. The debut release from Animarum Recordings received incredible support on Beatport and Spotify, solidifying the label’s position within the techno community.
DEMO SUBMISSION
Please take note of the following guidelines for submitting demos to our record label:
1. We only accept demo submissions in the form of SoundCloud secret links. Please ensure that your tracks are uploaded on SoundCloud as secret links before submitting.
2. It is required to gather all your tracks into a single secret playlist on SoundCloud.
3. We kindly request that you limit your submission to your 10 best tracks. This helps us focus on your strongest work and provides a comprehensive overview of your musical abilities.
4. In order to ensure a meaningful response, we kindly request that your email contains more than just a link. Please take the time to include some text introducing yourself and your music. This allows us to understand your artistic vision and evaluate your submission more effectively.
5. When introducing yourself and your music in your email, please provide relevant information about your background, influences, previous achievements, and any other details that may be helpful for us to understand your artistic journey.
